WDRB: Mail delays frustrate Louisville residents, businesses as USPS struggles

A lot of people in Louisville are still waiting for mail and packages from USPS, John, but this problem is by no means limited to Kentucky.

The recent winter storms have stretched USPS resources to their limit, and while this should serve as a major wakeup call in our effort to combat the climate crisis, it also highlights another critical issue:

This is all coming at a time when Donald Trump and his MAGA allies are trying to privatize the post office, which would be an unmitigated disaster.

Will you sign our petition demanding that the GOP abandon their plans to privatize the USPS?

Privatizing the post office would be a huge mistake for a number of reasons, John:

It could raise the prices of mailing and shipping substantially.

It could push hundreds of thousands of government employees out of a job overnight.

It could devastate small businesses who rely on the USPS to survive.

The USPS is sometimes the only mailing option for disconnected or rural areas.

The recent delays prove that we should be investing in fixing, maintaining, and updating the USPS, not turning it over to corporations.

Will you add your name to our petition to save the Post Office from privatization and corporate greed?
