Republican leaders are now advising their lawmakers to avoid town halls ([link removed])—dodging the very people they claim to represent. They don’t want to face the tough questions. They don’t want to be held accountable. And they certainly don’t want to explain why they keep putting their own interests ahead of yours.͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌

Hello Herbert, have you seen the latest?

Republican leaders are now advising their lawmakers to avoid town halls—dodging the very people they claim to represent. They don’t want to face the tough questions. They don’t want to be held accountable. And they certainly don’t want to explain why they keep putting their own interests ahead of yours.

This is not leadership. This is cowardice.

And it is up to us to stop it. ([link removed])

Rolling Stone Article: GOP LEADERS ADVISE LAWMAKERS TO SIMPLY STOP HOSTING TOWN HALLS: REPORT

I believe in something different. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been showing up—everywhere. At the 3rd Annual Community Prayer Breakfast, talking with local leaders. At Tranquil Villas, hearing from our seniors over coffee. At the Walton County NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner, celebrating progress and discussing the work ahead. At protests, meeting families who just want a better future for their kids.

I’m here because this is my job—to listen, to show up, and to fight for you.

With just 19 days until the special election, we have to make a choice: Do we want more representatives who hide from the people they serve? Or do we elect leaders who will stand in front of their communities and answer to them?

I’m ready to be that leader.

But I need your help. I’ve missed my February goal by $1,500, and if that is not met today, I will stall out. Help me restore leadership to Northwest Florida. Can you split a donation between my campaign and Fight for Progress right now?
