Donald Trump is facing backlash less than two months into his term, and his approval ratings tell the story.

It’s not too hard to see why Trump’s approval is dropping. In the time since he took office, he’s already:

• Spiked costs for people all over the country.
• Allowed unelected billionaire Elon Musk to wreak havoc on our government, dismantling key agencies and firing thousands of federal workers.
• Supported congressional Republicans’ agenda to slash Medicaid for millions of people, while giving a giant tax handout to billionaires.
• Rescinded President Biden’s executive order to lower prescription drug costs for Americans on Medicare and Medicaid.
• And more…

Unfortunately, this is just the beginning, and Democrats must fight back. To do that, we need to do two things:

1. Mobilize against Trump, Musk, and their allies — holding town halls where Republican representatives won’t show up, call our representatives and urge them to vote against disastrous legislation that cuts health care access, and more.
2. Elect more Democrats who will check Trump’s power in their cities, districts, and states.
