Last week, President Trump gave the longest presidential address in history -- but we didn't hear anything about how he'll bring down prices for groceries, housing, health care or child care.

Instead, Trump doubled down on failed policies that will only fuel more chaos and drive up prices for Americans:

❌ Freezing funding for Head Start and lifesaving medical research
❌ Proposing new tariffs that will mean higher prices for everyday essentials like gas and groceries
❌ Bowing down to Putin and berating our allies
❌ Giving tax breaks and benefits to billionaires by taking away health insurance for millions of Americans -- including seniors in nursing homes, new moms, and kids with severe illnesses

Even in this hot mess of division, I promise to always stand up for our democracy. We must continue fighting back in the courts, in Congress, and, in the long term, through elections to hold the Trump administration accountable.
