Republicans are executing their Project 2025 playbook page by page.

This week, Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, at the request of President Trump fired HALF of the staff at the Department of Education.

The Trump Administration has taken a wrecking ball to nearly every government agency, and this decision will impact children for decades to come.

As an educator, I am appalled at the onslaught and the volume of these firings. Our kids will suffer from this decision. Our communities will suffer. Teachers and school staff will be left without critical support — right when they need these resources the most!

I am committed to fighting back against these attacks on education. I won’t sit quietly and allow billionaires to dismantle education.

Donald Trump’s overreaching Constitutional authority should concern every person in America, John. We must fight back and hold him accountable to the rule of law. The best way to do that is to flip the House majority.
