John, it’s Adam, Abigail’s husband.

During Women’s History Month, we celebrate important women from the past and present to inspire the next generation. As a father to three daughters, I’ve seen first-hand how young girls dream bigger, work harder, and lift up those around them when they meet or learn about amazing women.

Our kids are lucky. They have one grandmother who spent 30 years teaching public school, and another grandmother who spent her career as a nurse and helped pass the Equal Rights Amendment in Virginia. Both of them gave back to their communities in profound ways.

For our girls, their mom, Abigail, is still their biggest role model. They’ve seen her work tirelessly to improve our community, stand up for what’s right, and bring people together to help solve problems to create a better future for everyone. Now, their mom is running to become the first woman Governor of Virginia.
