Dear John,
On March 19th, educators, students, parents, and allies across the country are organizing walk-ins to stand up for public schools, students’ rights, and education funding. With support from Advocates for Youth, Know Your IX, and many others, the National Education Association is leading this effort to push back against the Trump administration’s attacks on public education, including defunding schools, undermining students' civil rights, and attempting to dismantle the Department of Education.
🧐What’s a walk-in? It’s a locally organized rally where community members gather outside a school before walking in together as a show of unity and resistance.
