Did you know that providing multiple micronutrient supplementation to pregnant women is considered a "global best investment ([link removed]) "? While these prenatal vitamins are routine for women in high-income countries, they are out of reach for many in low- and middle-income countries, leaving women and their babies at risk. Micronutrient deficiencies contribute to around 295,000 preventable maternal deaths and millions of preventable infant deaths every year.

Our pilot in Nigeria is evaluating the key barriers that prevent women from accessing and regularly taking these supplements.
