King Newsom’s Latest Bombshell: A $3.44 Billion Loan to
Fund Free Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants
Under King Newsom and Democrat rule, California now spends 22% of
its General Fund Medi-Cal budget on FREE
healthcare for over 1.6 million illegal immigrants, costing over
$8.5 billion per year.
We’ve fought against this reckless and unfair giveaway from the
start. It was never sustainable. It isn’t now, it never will be. And
it’s only getting worse…
At 5pm last night, the
Newsom Administration dropped a bombshell: they’re taking
out a $3.44 billion loan to keep funding free
healthcare for illegal
immigrants. They're funding the loan with tax dollars meant for
healthcare providers.
This is an outright betrayal of legal residents who are already
struggling to access care. That’s why I’m demanding a public
hearing and cost analysis so the public knows
exactly where their tax dollars are going. A sneaky
late night notification is not transparency.
These unfair policies send a dangerous message to the world:
“Come to California, doesn’t matter if it’s illegally, and
claim your free healthcare. We’ll even take out a loan to pay for
it!”
Expanding healthcare coverage means nothing if there aren’t enough
doctors to meet demand. Medi-Cal providers are
overwhelmed, struggling to keep up, and unable to provide
care for all Californians.
Legal residents are paying the price. Every dollar
spent on illegal immigrants is a dollar taken away from Californians
who need it most, like our veterans who are constantly left behind in
the healthcare system.
Democrats are relentlessly expanding government handouts that
encourage and reward illegal immigration at the
expense of hardworking Californians. We're exhausting every resource
to expose the staggering costs of these reckless
policies.
