Hi John —

Wishing all of you a very Happy Valentine's Day! No matter our personal life situation, I know we share one love in common: a love for our democracy! 

I got involved, like many of you, back in 2016, to uphold our shared Democratic values and country's democracy. They say all politics is local, so I decided to get involved locally and run for office in my town to make a difference. 

Thank you for all the volunteer work you do in your communities and across Morris County to support democracy and our democratic institutions, especially in this dark time. 

And, a special thanks to everyone who also decided to run for office after the 2016 election. Whether or not you were successful, by running, you made a difference.

Now, there are days when you might feel hopeless or even frightened. But, I hope you take comfort in knowing there are others digging in to fight and to make good trouble in our own MCDC organization and in grassroots groups across Morris County, the state and nation.

Let's stay strong and support each other!
