Starting salary is ?20,661 rising to ?21,962 on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.

A Children's home supporting 4 young people aged 10 years to 19 years?who are?in long term care?requires a Children's Residential Social Care Worker. The role requires an ability to:?To?give essential and personal care to?children and young people with autism and learning or physical disabilities.?To establish positive relationships with the young people, assessing needs and risk. Working jointly in preparation, implementation, delivery and revision of care plans.?To ensure that the physical, emotional, religious, educational and psychological needs of children and young people accommodated within the home are met.?To support young people to meet their transitional needs when moving in and out of the home.?To support young people?with their medical and?all round health needs. This includes administration of medication.?To ensure a high standard of supervision and support is provided to assist children and young people in combating the disabling effect of Autism and learning disabilities.?To facilitate access to appropriate life opportunities to children and young people with Autism and learning/physical disabilities that promotes the growth of the individual and inclusion. ?
