Yesterday, Public Citizen lawyers sued the Trump regime for its illegal attempts to dismantle the federal government’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

This is the seventh lawsuit Public Citizen has filed so far against the Trump regime.

Here’s more about this latest case:
Our lawsuit seeks to stop the Trump regime’s illegal dismantling of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Public Citizen — with co-counsel at Gupta Wessler LLP and the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) — is representing the NTEU, CFPB Employee Association, NAACP, National Consumer Law Center, Pastor Eva Steege, and Virginia Poverty Law Center in this case.

We also filed a motion for a temporary restraining order, asking the court to stop the Trump regime from proceeding with its plan while our case goes forward.

Again, this is the seventh lawsuit Public Citizen has filed over unlawful actions by the Trump regime — we’ve been emailing you updates about some of the others — and there are more to come.

If you can, please donate today to support Public Citizen’s work standing up to the Trump regime.

Anything you can chip in — $5 or $25, $50 or $100, $500 or even more — will help at such a critical moment.
