Dear John,
Every day brings a new assault on our communities. Executive orders targeting immigrants. Policies criminalizing our existence. Memos undermining our constitutional rights. Attacks on civil servants who serve our communities. This constant barrage leaves many of us feeling exhausted, anxious, and isolated in our struggles.
Yet throughout history, in moments like these, communities of color and racial justice advocates have always known where our power lies: in the stories we tell, the solidarity we build, the resilience we maintain, and the futures we dare to imagine together.
When anti-immigrant laws threaten to splinter our communities, we stand together with our neighbors.
When the very existence of transgender people is under attack, we unite to protect our LGBTQIA+ family.
When racist policies target Arab Americans, we rise together boldly to affirm their humanity.
When executive orders target the very citizenship of Black and brown people, we remind them of who actually made this country great.
This is the power of multiracial and cross-sectoral solidarity—the strength of our collective voices and stories!
In a time when opposition forces work relentlessly to divide us, Race Forward is proud to announce and host Just Narratives for Multiracial Solidarity on November 13–15, 2025, in St. Louis, MO.
