Dear Team,

Here at March On, we are saddened and sickened by the unlawful murder of George Floyd in Minnesota. We are devastated by the unjust fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor in Kentucky. We are outraged by the vicious assassination of Ahmaud Arbery. We are angered by the racial profiling and lies told about Christian Cooper in Central Park. And we are shattered by the injustices that minority communities throughout our country continue to face despite continuous calls to dismantle hate and oppression. 

It is now the responsibility of Minnesota’s officials to serve justice in the case of George Floyd’s murder, but it is up to all of us to ensure that we fight to protect our neighbors. 

It is our responsibility in this moment to rebuild systems that have historically and violently oppressed the African American community; to elect officials who prioritize police and criminal justice reform; and to ensure this does not and cannot happen again.

It’s time to take action. Let's all make our voices heard for racial justice in America.
