John — No matter what happens in Washington, D.C., I’m holding the line for Oregon and our values.
In a little under a month, President Trump has signed several executive orders attacking equity and inclusion efforts, restricting access to gender-affirming health care, and reinstating the military ban on transgender service members.
We can’t go backwards. I will defend Oregon as a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community.
LGBTQ+ Oregonians are part of the community fabric that makes our state such a fantastic place to call home, and during these uncertain times, I’ll never stop fighting to make sure vulnerable communities everywhere are protected.
The freedom to be yourself and to love who you love should never be in question. I will always stand with my community in Oregon and around the country to defend these freedoms, and on this Valentine’s Day, I invite you to join me:
John, sign my team’s petition to call for complete protections for LGBTQ+ individuals and denounce the Trump administration’s attempts to roll back the clock on our most fundamental rights. [[link removed]]

Thank you for reading and signing the petition. I will continue to push back on anything that undermines protections for LGBTQ+ Oregonians.
Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Valentine’s Day.
