I know that, for many people, thinking about politics right now is overwhelming. With all the extremism and chaos that’s going on around us, it’s reasonable to feel dispirited right now.

But the people of Kansas didn’t elect me to sit on my hands and become demoralized. They elected me to get things done and fight for families across our state, no matter what party is in charge. After all, Kansans know that I’ll work with anyone when it’s good for our state — but never hesitate to push back against extremism whenever necessary.
