I know you’ll join in with the party to send our congratulations and aroha to all our people that received Queens Honours this weekend.  Our kuia Dame Aroha Reriti-Crofts and Whaea Ngareta Timutimu are staunch party members and Dame Aroha also stood for for the party in one election for the Waimakariri seat.

E 15 wiki e toe ana – 15 weeks to go

Hope you had a good long weekend break and though the weather was good for the ducks in my neck of the woods, it was good to continue to improve my rewena making skills so that I might be ready to challenge Te Ururoa soon…

Whānau, we only have 15 weeks till election and your candidates will need help to put up billboard hoardings from mid June so please contact <mailto:[email protected]> us if you have a good site for the teams to erect a billboard.

Te Whakamāunu Waka – Campaign Launch 21 June

We have our Campaign Launch on Sunday 21 June in Tāmaki Makaurau.  This is our chance to introduce our full team that are standing in the Māori electorates and to release some of our policy framework.

As I’ve already covered, we will however take our time to release our policies so that the competition don’t take anything and to ensure that we release policies throughout the campaign.  We are excited about the work ahead and our Candidates have another wānanga the day before to help with their training.

Ngā Kōrero i te Ipurangi – Māori Conversations on Facebook

You can watch these awesome interviews by clicking on Māori Conversations <[link removed]> which screens live on Facebook at 8pm each night.

We have the candidates sharing throughout the week and our co-leaders wrap up the week on Sundays.  To help increase following, we need you to share Māori Conversations as a watch-party so that people watch as you’re watching and it helps with organic growth.

Tautoko ā-Pūtea – Financial Support

By 1 July 2020, we will have all members on an annual membership registration <[link removed]> of $5 or more.  If you haven't done so already, expect to receive an email during June 2020, inviting you to do so.  This was changed at our AGM at Whangaehu in October 2019.

With less than 109 days till the election, we need your support to donate <[link removed]> to the party to help build up our pūtea to win seats and return back to Parliament come 19 September and be the free Māori voice in Parliament:

Donate $5 or $25 or $50 or more, click here <[link removed]>

Enjoy the holiday weekend.

Arohanui,

Che Wilson
