John,

Happy Valentine’s Day! Our Commonwealth’s motto is Virginia is for lovers, and today, I’m reminded of the deep love we all share for Virginia — a place that’s close to my heart. From the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains to the vibrant streets of Richmond to the beauty of our rivers and coastline, Virginia truly is a Commonwealth for lovers. ❤️

Virginia is where my family put down roots when I was a child, where I went to public school, graduated from college, and later built a life with my husband, Adam, and our three girls. Virginia is also where I began my career in public service, and my love for the Commonwealth and its people is what drove me to run for Congress in 2018.

In Congress, I worked every day to lower prescription drug costs, rebuild our infrastructure, support our Veterans, and defend our fundamental rights. I had the honor of serving Virginia’s Seventh District through extraordinary — and often tough — moments in history, and with that same passion, I’m ready to tackle the challenges ahead as Virginia’s next Governor.

The road ahead won’t be easy, but I’m no stranger to a tough race. With the strength of our grassroots support and your help, I know we can accomplish anything.

So, this Valentine’s Day, will you help me spread the love for Virginia and contribute to my campaign for Governor?
