Minnesota Family Council Opposes Legalization of Predatory Mobile Sports Gambling Industry

On Thursday, February 13, the Senate State and Local Government Committee failed to move forward the bill that would legalize the predatory mobile sports gambling industry in Minnesota. Our Director of Public Policy Rebecca Delahunt testified on our opposition to SF757. Watch her testimony here.
The bill was tabled in this committee with a vote of 6-6 and currently is not moving to its next committee stop, with opposition to the bill coming from a unique coalition of members from both parties. We sent out an action alert to you who have Senators serving on the State and Local Government Committee. If your Senator voted "No" on SF757, that Senator's name is listed below.
Send your Senator a thank-you note for his or her leadership in protecting Minnesotans from a predatory industry which allows the state to collect tax revenue on addiction.
