Yesterday, we held our first National Squad Call of the year — where we joined in community with hundreds of members calling in from across the country to uplift Black Joy and discuss our shared mission to build and protect Black political power. In the wake of the hostile political landscape, we must be the answer for our families, communities, and the nation.

Our Squad program began in 2016 with one clear goal rooted in a simple concept: to win for Black people. We set out to create a space that celebrates our collective brilliance, uplifts our shared experiences, and reaffirms our value.

While much has changed since 2016, our mission stays the same: to build a Black political power and to create a less hostile world for Black people in America.
