I wish I was reporting better news, but here we are. At today’s Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Victory Parade, two women were shot by a man in a jersey as the result of an unknown argument.1
I know this news is infuriating, as Philadelphia’s joy was stolen by senseless violence. But, as a Philadelphian, I know how resilient we are. That nothing can stop us--including as we saw last week the Chiefs. And I know we won’t let up until we’ve passed the legislation we need to #EndGunViolence and increase peace and safety for all our communities.
