Trump’s anti-immigrant policies threaten America’s food system

Since President Trump has taken office, many migrant farmworkers have stopped reporting for work out of fear they will be deported. During the COVID pandemic, these same migrant farmworkers were hailed as first responders, risking their own lives to feed people across the U.S. Today, our local and state officials must do all that they can to keep farmworkers and all our community members safe from deportation. Join our monthly webinar series every third Tuesday of the month. You'll hear from AFSC staff and partners on how you can help your community and advocate for change. This month, we explore the challenges and experiences of Black and African migrants. We'll also examine the intersections between the U.S. criminal legal system and our immigration system.  And we'll learn how we can work together for policies that respect the rights and dignity of all people.
