This is a longer email about the 2024 election, where Democrats stand in 2025, and where we go from here. It’s important, so we hope you’ll stick around.

Donald Trump won the presidential election in November, but that doesn’t mean our hard work was in vain. It might not feel like it, but all of our contributions — whether it was knocking on doors, making phone calls, or chipping in $5 — made a big difference.

Republicans have an extremely slim House majority, and Democrats won battleground neck-and-neck Senate races because of the work we did together. That’s an important lesson.

We’re already seeing the consequences of November’s election as Trump’s Project 2025 agenda comes to life — but we’re also seeing how important it is that we have as many Democrats as possible in offices up and down the ballot, willing to fight back and protect the people they serve. Now, we need to elect more of them.

That work starts now. We need to organize early, invest in races across the country, and build the strongest possible Democratic Party to take on Trump and the GOP in 2026 and beyond. But we can’t do it without your help.
