We refuse to look away while millions of animals are routinely injected with or force fed potentially toxic substances and killed in U.S. testing facilities every year. But we need you with us in this fight in order to take effective action to protect animals and help transform the industries responsible for their suffering. Please, donate now to support our efforts to end unnecessary animal testing and protect all animals from harm.

Friend,

You don’t need me to tell you that animal testing is painful, traumatizing and results in the senseless suffering of millions of animals per year. But the reality is more horrifying than you might think. I hope you’ll take a minute to let me explain, but if you’re in a hurry, please rush a donation to Humane World Action Fund, formerly Humane Society Legislative Fund, to help end unnecessary animal testing and make lasting change for all vulnerable animals.

Here’s just a glimpse of what may be happening to animals in labs around the country:

• Loyal dogs have their organs deliberately damaged.
• Young monkeys are ripped away from their mothers.
• Pregnant rabbits are force-fed toxic contaminants like pesticides.
• Ferrets, baboons and horses are deliberately infected with dangerous viruses and diseased tissue samples.

I can’t list them all here, friend, but these tests inflict unimaginable suffering on helpless animals for days, months and even years. When the experiments end, most animals are killed without a second thought so that their bodies can be examined. If they’re allowed to live, they could be subjected to one nightmare experiment after the other for the rest of their lives. It doesn’t have to be this way.

We’re fighting to end the root causes of animal suffering and abuse and that means not only saving animals from being used for testing and research, but working to change the entire industry so they no longer rely on animal testing and instead switch to more modern and effective non-animal testing alternatives. It’s a big task, but we have the network, the experts and the commitment to see it through. We just need you to be a part of it. Please: Donate $20 or more now and act to end animal cruelty.
