Republicans in NINE states are on a mission to OVERTURN Obergefell v. Hodges (a.k.a. the Supreme Court ruling that grants same-sex couples the right to marry nationwide).

PART TWO:

FOUR of those states are in the South: In Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Tennessee, lawmakers are attempting to “grant special privileges to heterosexual marriages.”

And most Southern states already have constitutional amendments and statutes banning same‑sex marriage.
