John, I want to make one thing clear.

I just wrapped up my 2nd town hall of the year, focused on the House Republican Budget Proposal.

The recent actions we have seen from Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and House Republicans do not benefit the American people. Instead, what they are focused on is serving their own self-interest and lining their pockets.

Right now, Republicans are using their power to take a wrecking ball to the federal government. They have fired thousands of nonpartisan government workers, proposed devastating cuts to Medicaid, and are trying to ram through a budget that addresses none of the pressing issues affecting hardworking families right now.

And in the middle of this dysfunction, our federal government could be on track for another Republican-led shutdown. Their priorities could not be more out of touch.

I will not stop speaking up about their attacks on working families, but I need your help to continue raising our voices. It is clear that we need to bring real governance back to Washington, and that starts by retaking the House majority.
