URGENT: Yesterday, Trump and Musk took their first step in his plan to dismantle the Department of Education by firing nearly 50% of the staff. This administration is eliminating programs critical for student success in order to give more tax cuts to billionaires and trillionaires.

This is just the latest attack on Trump’s efforts to dismantle our government, strip away our rights, and put the American people at risk. Among other critical functions, the department helps to bolster education for low-income students and children with disabilities. Now, Trump wants to strip that support away from states.

Here’s the thing: Despite his attempts to play king, Trump cannot close down the department without congressional approval, and Democrats are determined to fight back.

Republicans, from Ohio to Washington, are working to slash education to our children in the name of politics. We won’t stand for it. Help Shontel fight back by donating $5 or whatever you can today →
