You can’t change my mind on this: The best hot dog in America is from Pip’s in Annapolis. Not only does Pip’s make a damn good dog, they’re also a family and veteran-owned business. That’s why I was proud to present them with a Governor's Citation just last month to recognize their contributions to our community. Small businesses like Pip’s are the heartbeat of Maryland. They shape communities, bring people together, and, in Pip’s case, keep our bellies full. John, I want to know from you: What small businesses are you supporting in your community? Reply to this email to let me know and, maybe on my next outing, I’ll check them out. Elevate, Wes P.S. Maryland has a lot to offer on the food scene. If you’re looking for good eats, check out some of my other favorite spots and recommendations — including Old Bay on ice cream. (Don’t knock it ‘til you try it!) |
