Team – After a career of service, Senator Jeanne Shaheen announced that she will not seek reelection to the U.S. Senate.
Senator Shaheen has always put New Hampshire first. From serving as our governor to fighting for us in the U.S. Senate, she has never wavered in her commitment to making a difference for Granite Staters.
She’s strengthened our economy, stood up for our communities, and worked to keep our nation safe. She’s been a leader who brings people together to solve tough problems with integrity, grit, and heart.
On a personal note, I volunteered for Senator Shaheen’s campaign for governor in 1996. Even then it was clear: Her tireless work ethic and deep commitment to public service set her apart. She’s been a mentor, a role model, and a friend. Her leadership has shaped our state for the better, and the Granite State will feel her impact for generations to come.
Today I hope you’ll join me in saying thank you, Senator Shaheen.
Chris
