The 119th Congress is in session, and I am excited to get to work fighting for YOU. This past week, my brand-new DOGE Subcommittee declared the War on Waste, we began preparing for our next hearing on USAID, and RFK Jr. was sworn in as the new Secretary of HHS. We are hard at work delivering the mandate YOU gave this past November. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration and my Republican colleagues to put YOU first. Keep reading to see what's been happening on Capitol Hill!

This past Wednesday, my brand-new DOGE Subcommittee launched the WAR ON WASTE.
DOGE held a hearing discussing improper payments and how it's burdening the American people. The money wasted in improper payments is in the trillions. Funds are blown in the wind due to overpayments, payments made to dead people, and fraud.
The Democrats threw temper tantrums as we discovered the billions of dollars wasted in Medicare and Medicaid, programs that are beneficial to Americans regardless of their political affiliation.Â
Nonetheless, the DOGE Subcommittee is working on a report that provides recommendations on legislative action to save YOU money. This committee is not designed just to find problems, and there are many. My DOGE Subcommittee is a solutions-oriented group of individuals ready to implement real change for YOU, the American people.

Our next DOGE hearing will focus on the fraud and abuse of USAID.Â
The federal agency is wasting tax dollars by sending your money overseas when Americans in places like Asheville, North Carolina; East Palestine, Ohio; and Lahaina, Hawaii, need our help! Not to mention the CLEAR money laundering schemes that fund leftist ideologies: $70 billion to fund abortion services and gender equality globally, $16 million to train illegal aliens to hide from ICE, $2 million for gender transition surgeries in Guatemala, and much more.
This is an unacceptable way to spend BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars. I'm looking forward to exposing the fraud.

Watching RFK (a Kennedy!) being sworn into President Trump’s administration inside the Oval Office is a HISTORIC moment I’ll never forget. I had goosebumps!
I'm so glad to have been an a supporter of RFK during his nomination and am looking forward to the draining of the swamp and improving America's health.
Thanks to President Trump, we’ll Make America Healthy Again and Bobby will lead the way!

President Trump has signed a proclamation to officially rename the Gulf of Mexico to the rightful Gulf of America!
The House must pass my bill, the Gulf of America Act, and ensure this change cannot be undone by a future Democrat regime. This is what the Golden Age of America looks like, promises made & promises kept!
February 9th will forever be Gulf of America Day!🇺🇸

Read about some of our constituents' successes below:
"SSI worker had intentionally missed my check-up for over three months and hopefully this will end me having problems with my Social Security check not coming to me. Thanks to Tracey and the rest of your staff, thank you Ladies very much." -Charles J.
"Andrea was a joy to work with in the details of how to open a long-needed conversation with IRS on the closure of a 2020 estate. As of now, we believe we have been able to resolve the issues that have stalled the process for over 2 years, awaiting communication with an agent who could assist us. So appreciate the door opened to this situation that seemed impossible!" -Nora H.
"I am so thankful for your help! Your office has been amazing, especially Andrea, I could not be more thankful for her level of care that she provided my wife and I. She went above and beyond our expectations. She was very responsive to emails which truly lowered my stress with USCIS. This experience has solidified my trust with this office. Thank you all for the help, it is truly appreciated!" -Joshua B.
