It’s clear that our nation’s president is a racist. 

All the way back in the 1970s, Trump was sued by the Department of Justice for allegedly refusing to rent apartments in his housing developments to Black people – and the Justice Department found evidence that he and his father “failed and neglected” to follow the Fair Housing Act.

And his racist actions certainly didn’t stop there. He constantly has pushed the racist conspiratory that President Obama wasn’t born in America. And he attacked Congresswomen Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by telling them to “go back” to the countries they came from – even though they are all American citizens.

Now, he’s stocking his Cabinet full of clowns who spread lies about diversity programs, and he’s already rolling out executive orders to stop federal agencies from celebrating all the different people that make our nation truly great. Because of Trump, several federal agencies have stopped observing Black History Month. 

So this Black History Month, we need to rededicate ourselves to standing up to racism. At Blue Amp Action, we’re working hard to challenge Trump and his racist allies and to get Democrats elected who will fight for justice for ALL Americans.
