CHURCH ACTION ON POVERTY HAS A VACANCY FOR A CAMPAIGNS AND EVENTS INTERN
This internship offers opportunities to develop skills in event organising,
campaigning and supporter engagement as part of our small, dynamic team.
You will contribute to our movement-building work over the next 12 months:
* planning a range of events, workshops and conferences across the country to
bring together and energise supporters, activists, partners and people in
poverty;
* supporting the End Hunger UK campaign [[link removed]] ;
* seeking to engage a new generation of activists and supporters amongst young
adults in the 18-30 age-range.
As part of this work, you will have the opportunity to develop skills and
experience needed for future employment in this field.
This is a 28-hour-a-week paid internship for up to 12 months starting in
September 2019, based in Salford. The salary equates to £14,560 over 12 months,
plus a 10% employer’s pension contribution and generous holiday entitlements.The closing date for applications is 10am on Tuesday 3 September 2019.
