Friend, I’ll cut straight to the chase:

We’ve seen a slight dip in our grassroots fundraising lately, and we’re at risk of falling behind a critical goal.

Considering many folks are burnt out from endless headlines about Donald Trump’s harmful executive actions, this isn’t surprising.

But here’s the issue: Republicans know that the path to defending their narrow House majority requires flipping seats like mine next year, so they’re counting on folks being too tired or distracted to engage with the races that matter in 2026.

And here’s the good news: Our grassroots team is no stranger to tough fights. We’ve overcome obstacles together in the past and ran a strong campaign all the way through November last year.

Thousands of grassroots supporters pitched in to help power us over the finish line, and I know we can do it again if we work together now to prepare for the obstacles we’ll face down the road.

So friend, before our first mid-quarter deadline of the year expires tonight at midnight, can we count on you to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to help get us back on track so I can continue my work for IL-13 and our country?
