Team, less than a month into Donald Trump’s second administration, he and his MAGA trifecta have already thrown Washington and the country into chaos - from Trump’s extreme executive orders and disastrous cabinet appointments to an attempted major federal funding freeze.

Fortunately, Democratic governors nationwide are fighting back, working as the last line of defense against MAGA extremism, and standing up for the American people.

Just take a look:

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed 16 bills to expand reproductive freedom and make contraception more affordable.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’ 2025-27 budget includes over 10 policies to address high prescription drug costs – including price caps, stronger oversight of drug companies, and measures to protect consumers from price gouging.
Maryland Gov. Wes Moore signed a proclamation officially enshrining reproductive freedom in Maryland’s constitution.
Kansas Governor Laura Kelly unveiled a plan to more than double the state’s hourly minimum wage from $7.25 to $15, marking the first increase since 2010.
Team, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Democratic governors are tirelessly working to move their states forward – but they can’t keep making progress and fighting for our fundamental freedoms in the face of far-right attacks without help from grassroots Democrats like you.
