Friend — A few weeks back my team told you we were already working on our strategy to support changemaking candidates in battleground districts in next year’s midterms.

We just got a big shakeup.

Democratic Senator Tina Smith announced yesterday that she will not seek reelection, meaning that there will be an open race for Minnesota's Senate seat in 2026.

This changes our math. We knew we had to defend seats in Michigan, Georgia, and New Hampshire, but now with an open race in Minnesota, the GOP could have a real shot at flipping this seat and adding to their majority.

That’s the last thing we need with Trump and Elon Musk continuing their illegal takeover of the federal government and Republicans in Congress sitting idly by. If want to flip the Senate, Minnesota is an absolute must-win.

So here’s our ask for you today: Help us get ahead of the GOP in this crucial Senate race.

We can bet that they will be calling around to their corporate mega-donors following this news. We have to counter them, starting now.
