Dear John,
Because the summer is upon us, we are headed into a long fundraising drought that could have serious repercussions on how we can continue our fight for the unborn child and the family.
I will give you examples of how a summer-long can negatively affect our babies saving work at the United Nations, but first let me give you an example of how little C-Fam punches far above our weight.
A major alert was just issued by two major pro-abortion groups that cites C-Fam as having influenced the Trump administration in withholding funds from the World Health Organization.
The alert was issued by the International Women’s Health Coalition and a group called IPAS. Both are global radical feminist, pro-contraception, pro-abortion, anti-family, anti-Christian groups. These two groups are at the very center of the global campaign to impose abortion-on-demand on the whole world.
Their alert cited a 2010 paper published by C-Fam called The World Health Organization’s Abortion Agenda. The alert also cited a more recent paper of ours called The World Health Organization’s Abortion Overreach.
C-Fam has long made the argument that the World Health Organization is a danger to unborn children and the family. We have made this case in season and out of season, during Democrat administrations and during Republican administrations.
C-Fam personnel in telling the truth about what really happens at the international level and shining a light on how international institutions, have been taken over by the radical abortion left.
The new report from these two radical pro-abortion groups demonstrates abundantly the effectiveness of our scholarship and our influence.
I regret to say that such influence can be undermined but only one thing, a lack of funds.
The summertime is generally a very bad time for raising funds. This summer will be especially difficult with the issues of COVID shutdowns and the riots that are tearing our cities apart.
