“Politics is about the improvement of people’s lives.”

– Senator Paul Wellstone

John, I hold on tight to the bedrock principle that our job in government is to move our nation forward and to get things done that make a difference in people's lives.

I promise to find common ground where I can and stand my ground where I must so we deliver real results to make Americans’ lives better. Will you donate today to support my efforts in the Senate?

I believe we should be focused on delivering lower costs and certainty for Americans. Instead, the past few weeks have been marked by chaos and corruption -- and Americans are paying the price.

The Trump Administration should work with Congress -- not pull the plug on funding for kids, cancer patients, and first responders. Democrats fought back against President Trump’s reckless funding freeze, but there is still so much more we must do to hold this administration accountable.

I hope you’ll stick with me.

Your contribution today will help power my work in the Senate. Even in the hot mess of division we find ourselves in, I’m committed to ensuring the policies we are fighting for in Washington reflect what the American people want and need.

Thank you so much -- I couldn’t do this without you.

-- Amy
