We are continuing the fight to get Texas reimbursed for the havoc the Biden Administration has wreaked on our farms, ranches, communities, and most of all our families.

Serving as Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Conference

Members of the Congressional Hispanic Conference are battle-tested, common-sense Republican legislators—we are the majority makers who sit on the most powerful committees in Congress.

We have a country to save, and we will not back down in the fight to preserve the American dream and keep our communities safe.

The Hispanic Conference is ready to hit the ground running, and I'm grateful to serve as Chairman for the 119th Congress.

Securing Our Border

In just 3 weeks, the Trump administration has proven how serious it is about securing our border.

Now, Congress needs to do its job and pass long-term solutions.

Instead of funding NGO enablers, let’s cut waste, support our military, and fund border operations at DHS.

Our federal debt is through the roof and our budget is beyond bloated.

My mission is to make the government function again.

Holding Criminals Accountable

This week, I voted YES on the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act.

This bill would give serious jail time to any human smuggler who evades law enforcement and engages in a high-speed car chase.

Our district has seen enough destruction at the hands of these criminals.
