Republicans in the House voted to gut the PACT Act and rip billions of dollars in care from Veterans who are suffering from chronic diseases after toxic exposures during their time in service.

They voted last year to pass a budget with $22.8 billion for the Toxic Exposures Fund, starting on October 1st.

Last night, they passed a budget with ZERO dollars for the Toxic Exposures Fund, starting on October 1st.

They’re following Elon Musk and Trump, who are pushing the VA to fire 83,000 staff and set the agency back to 2019 — before the PACT Act was passed.

VoteVets was one of the primary organizations behind this bill. We worked at it for years, and Republicans obstructed it every step of the way. Many Republicans voted AGAINST this bill when it originally passed. But we got it done — and since then more than 2 MILLION claims from Veterans have been approved.

That’s 2 million Veterans getting the coverage and treatment they need after suffering for years — sometimes decades — without it.

That’s 2 million Veterans that Republicans in the House just voted to screw over — because Elon Musk and Donald Trump want them to.

We mobilized nationwide to get the PACT Act passed. Right now, we’re doing everything we can to save it. And if the GOP kills the PACT Act, we’re going to mobilize nationwide to make them pay.

Please, if you can, chip in to help out. If everybody reading this made a donation of even $5, we’d have more than enough to take on every battleground Republican in the House who voted against these Vets.
