Here’s more about why I’m in this race:
We outperformed every Democratic race in our district in 2024, reaching more than five points better than the top of the ticket, and even outperforming the winning Senate race. We did it with a coalition that united working Wisconsinites, ranging from labor unions, to farmers, to students, and even voters who went with Trump.
And since that time, our call to put real, working class Wisconsinites first has only become more critical.
These past couple of months have the American people reeling from crushing attacks from this administration – policies that have put billionaires first and hit working families the hardest.
I’m feeling it personally. I’m still waitressing at the Good Wives in Eau Claire, and I hear the same ongoing concerns from folks in our community. Basic costs of living like groceries and utility costs are still on the rise, health care is less accessible and affordable, family farms are folding, and home ownership feels further and further out of reach.
We can’t sit on the sidelines as the elites take up every last resource and leave all of us behind. We need action to have public service that works for us.
I know what working families need, because I’m part of one. And I wouldn’t be in this race if I wasn’t confident we could finish the job. But I can’t do this alone:
