Jason’s story is one of hard work, resilience, and standing up for what’s right — no matter how tough the fight may be.

Growing up, Jason worked minimum-wage jobs at McDonald’s and Arby’s to help make ends meet. To put himself through school, Jason worked construction and joined the National Guard.

After the horrific 9/11 attacks, Jason stepped up to serve his country. He served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan — and in the process, learned the value of sacrifice, service, and putting others before himself.

When he came home from serving overseas, Jason could see that too many Coloradans were struggling. Housing prices were sky-high, and families were drowning under the rising costs of everyday essentials.

Jason saw another opportunity to serve his country, this time in Congress. He defeated a five-term GOP congressman and helped Democrats win back the House in 2018. Since then, he’s been committed to making sure the needs of hard working families are always top of mind.
