By now, you’ve seen the emails over the past week about our campaign to secure 100 new monthly donors by Trump’s 50th day in the office. We are SO close and need just 20 more people to reach our goal.

As the person behind this campaign, I wanted to share my experience. I started at the American Immigration Council last January. When you start a new job, you never know exactly what the organization is going to be like. Let me tell you what I found.

* Steve, who works on the Research team to tirelessly share the latest immigration data with you.
* Aaron, on our Policy team, who negotiates with our elected leaders on Capitol Hill to make immigration reform a reality.
* Rich and our State and Local Team who turn data into action by working with coalitions in every state to get resources to impacted individuals.
