Dear John,
Overwhelmed by the nonstop chaos of the 2025 news cycle? International Working Women’s Day (IWWD) was a powerful reminder that we can create our own narrative! Refusing to be distracted by the turmoil and injustice surrounding us and our sisters worldwide, our local chapters—from Los Angeles to Dallas, from New York to London, UK—amplified the voices of international working women’s resistance. Together, we sent a bold and urgent message: when working women across the world stand united, liberation from imperialism and militarism is not just possible—it’s inevitable!
Our chapters are doing the hard work of movement building. IWWD highlights include CODEPINK Bay Area, who honored the revolutionary struggles of working women within Turtle Island and the Global South by holding community-led workshops to oppose fascism. CODEPINK NYC joined partners to host an educational screening of Leila and the Wolves (Leila wa za'ib) followed by a discussion on women leading resistance and liberation movements. CODEPINK London, UK took to the streets to mark the International Feminist Strike 2025 as part of a global anti-colonial movement! (Scroll down for photos!)
We could not be more proud of the amazing variety of actions organized by our chapters this IWWD — all made possible by donors like you.
Help us raise $8,000 for our local chapters!

Our chapters have their work cut out for them as they disrupt the war narrative everywhere. Last week, CODEPINK London, UK made news launching BasesOffCyprus, a brand new coalition-led campaign to end joint US/UK surveillance flights aiding Israel’s genocide, which forced the UK government to publicly respond. CODEPINKMissouri is organizing to stop Israel Chemicals Limited from opening up a new facility in St. Louis. CODEPINK North Dakota is working on kicking Elbit Systems out of their state. CODEPINK Chicago is part of a massive coalition to divest from Israeli bonds. They are taking on the war machine locally while educating and activating their friends and neighbors. Our chapters have brought thousands of new people into the peace movement by educating their communities on war and imperialism. If we want the world to change, we need to support the organizers who are educating and inspiring people all over the world. Help us equip them to organize more actions, teach-ins and protests!

CODEPINK chapters don’t just attend or organize protests. They flyer at farmers markets, talk to people at the bar, host educational events where they invite their families and neighbors, and they are constantly getting out of their own echo chambers. We know things seem bleak now, but through our chapters we’ve met so many incredibly kind-hearted people who are ready to join the movement. That alone keeps us inspired, and we want to keep supporting them through this difficult time.
