Dear Friend,
In case you missed it, on Sunday, I hosted a Town Hall on the House Republican FY26 Budget Proposal. The event was well attended by over 330 constituents from across the district.

The House budget calls for $1.8 trillion in spending cuts and $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, allowing for a $1.6 trillion increase in the deficit over the next ten years and a $4 trillion dollar debt limit increase.
During the Town Hall I was able to answer questions about what program cuts would mean for Connecticut families, as well as provide important resources on the budget framework, including the bill text, an outline of cuts by Committee, and full text of the one-year Continuing Resolution. All of these resources are available on my website, linked here.

If you weren’t able to attend the Town Hall in person, you can watch on my YouTube channel linked here.
If you have a question and were not able to ask it on Sunday, you can still share your concerns with me by contacting my Waterbury or Washington, D.C. office. My team and I remain ready to assist.
Thank you.
