Together we reached more than 43 million people with messages of hope and solidarity under the #StrongerTogether banner. More than 52 thousand people and organizations from 100 countries joined the mobilization, teaming up with a civil society coalition led by Action for Sustainable Development, the Global Call to Action Against Poverty and Project Everyone. DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 19 JULY
UN SDG Action Awards

To make sure the SDGs are front and center in any recovery plans, the UN SDG Action Awards are calling for the most inspiring and impactful initiatives on SDG Action around the world. These initiatives will demonstrate that transformative change is possible and will be beacons of hope to governments and people everywhere. We are thrilled to announce that the deadline has been extended until 19 July to capture initiatives that have adapted to the new context and are playing a role in the COVID-19 response.
People and organizations everywhere are welcome to apply. The winners will be announced at a virtual UN ceremony and featured as leaders of the SDG Action community throughout the year.

SHARE YOUR IMMERSIVE COVID-19 STORIES
|
|
We are calling creators of all ages, countries and languages to bring the global community closer together by capturing actions that are making a difference in response to COVID-19, thereby sharing their vision of a post-pandemic world that meets the Sustainable Development Goals. Use any type of media mix —from combining pen and paper with an audio recording, to Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, or 3D design— that make a story immersive and connect with creators in other parts of the world to harness the universal creativity and solidarity.

#TOWARDTOMORROW ART COMPETITION
|

Join the SDG Global Art Competition #TowardTomorrow on Instagram which invites people all over the world to create artwork for the Sustainable Development Goals. Prizes include exhibition opportunities, with a grand prize of €10K for the winner and €1K worth of art supplies for the youth winner. Submit your artwork by 5 June.
