As a key battleground state, Republicans have long had their eyes on Wisconsin’s state races. The upcoming election for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court on April 1st is no different—and could impact all of us, no matter where we live.
The current progressive majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court has played a pivotal role in striking down gerrymandered maps and restoring ballot drop boxes, making it a firewall for the freedom to vote in this key battleground state.
Losing the progressive majority could undermine future elections, open the door for extremist politicians to rig the system, and ultimately impact the outcomes of national elections—like the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential election.
It’s crucial Wisconsinites turn out for the election, but we need your help to make sure they do. Join Stand Up America, Vote Forward, and Indivisible on Wednesday, March 19th for a letter writing party to reach undecided voters in this important election.

Republican-backed PACs are pouring their money behind Republican Brad Schimel, a right-wing politician with a long career of choosing wealthy donors and special interests groups over real people. They know Schimel will protect corporate interests, undermine Wisconsinites freedom to vote, and do anything else in his power to keep conservatives in power in upcoming elections.
And it’s easy to see why. Wisconsin’s presidential results have always been close, with Donald Trump carrying the state by less than 30,000 votes last year and Joe Biden by just over 20,000 votes in 2020. The Badger State’s 10 electoral votes can make a big difference, and Republicans know that buying a seat in the high court could be key to winning any challenges they face in close elections.
What happens in Wisconsin’s State Supreme Court race could impact the midterms in 2026 and the presidential election in 2028 and have national consequences for decades to come. Sign up for next week’s party to write letters to Wisconsin voters and make sure they know what’s at stake for their state and the rest of the country.
Thanks for all that you do.
