Friend,
Although vaccines save millions of lives each year, tens of millions of people worldwide lack access to these lifesaving interventions—leaving them unprotected against preventable diseases. Each year, 1.5 million children die worldwide from vaccine-preventable diseases.
Friend, it all comes down to access. Lower-income countries struggle to afford the high costs of vaccines, to train staff, and to transport vaccines to the people who need them. In conflict zones, attacks on health care systems mean children and adults often lose access to basic care and have nowhere to get routine vaccinations.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is working to close these gaps for our patients, but we need your support to get lifesaving vaccines to the people and communities that need them most. Take this opportunity to make a gift now to fuel MSF’s work as we continue to respond to vaccination and other medical needs in Syria, Central African Republic, and over 70 countries around the world.

Whether vaccinating children in refugee camps against measles or ensuring vaccine access for vulnerable people during urban cholera outbreaks, vaccines are an essential part of our lifesaving work.
Our strategies center around responding to outbreaks, boosting preventive vaccination in our pediatric and emergency projects, investing in research on ways to better utilize current vaccines, and advocating for cheaper vaccines that are better-adapted to tropical climates and low-resource settings. But none of this is possible without your support.

Sincerely,
