I wanted to be sure you knew about all of the exciting events Democrats are hosting this week!

Today, the OK Federation of Democratic Women [[link removed]] is hosting their Women in Blue Advocacy Day at the Capitol. [[link removed]]

They'll be joining Democratic Legislators for a briefing on important bills, writing postcards, and visiting the Senate and House Chambers! Please take this chance to share your voice and perspective with our elected representatives at the State Capitol. And don't forget to wear something blue!

We are also leaping into Special Election season for the State Legislature. We've already had two post card parties here in OKC, and now it's time to start hitting the doors!

There is a lot of great work to be done for these two Democratic candidates running to flip Republican seats at the State Capitol. Amy Hossain is running to represent House District 74 in Owasso, and Nathan Brewer is running for Senate District 8.

We have already delivered supplies to the County Parties covered by these Special Elections and have partnered with the campaigns to develop robust strategies to win. Now we need you to join us in the work!

For the latest at the State Capitol, keeping up with recent events, and meeting with other Democrats -- consider swinging by our monthly coffee and chat! We've met with State Representatives, held discussions with local journalists, and had all kinds of productive conversations on how to get involved and how to fight back.

There are many great ways to get involved in your own neighborhood!

I hope to see you at any Democratic event this month! Trump, Musk, and extremist Republicans want to demoralize and exhaust us. They think that they can wear us out if they keep wrecking things at breakneck speed.

But I know that we can hold them accountable. It all starts with one phone call, one door knocked, and each of us standing up and speaking out. See you out there!
