If you applied to vote by mail, please review the options below.

If you have applied for a mail-in ballot: You cannot vote at your poll on Election Day. You may cast a provisional vote noted below or return your ballot in person. You can no longer return your ballot by mail because it must be received by the County Board of Elections by 8 PM on Tuesday, June 2nd. Postmarks do not count.

If you have not received your mail-in ballot: You may cast a provisional ballot at your poll, however that vote will not be scanned on Election Day but will be counted 7 days after the Election at the completion of the mail-in counting to ensure there are not duplicate votes.

If you have not returned your completed ballot: You may return your completed mail-in ballot to the York County Board of Elections office, 28 E Market St, York. You may only return your own ballot in-person. There are drop boxes outside of the Elections Office where you can pull up and drop off your ballot. You may not return your ballot at your polling location.

Again, these rules apply to voters who have applied for the mail-in ballot, regardless of if you have received the ballot or if you have returned it. If you did not apply to vote by mail, you may vote in person.
