News just broke that I am officially a top target of Trump’s Department of Justice.

We knew that I would be near the top of the Trump Administration’s enemies list, and today confirms it. As part of Trump’s quest for retribution, his DOJ is attempting to intimidate and investigate me because I have not been afraid to defend Ukraine and speak out against Trump’s authoritarian and corrupt agenda.

This is just the start. They will do whatever it takes to defeat me — including this unprecedented weaponization of government. They are laying the groundwork for the millions of dollars in attack ads they will run against me.

Trump has deputized Ed Martin to lead the charge against leaders like me who are not afraid to speak truth to power.

Ed Martin is best known for peddling conspiracies about the 2020 election, defending January 6 insurrectionists and dismissing career attorneys who worked on the January 6 cases.

The accusations against me are complete BS, but for Trump, it’s not about the substance or the facts. His real goal is to punish everyone he can and scare anyone else from speaking out about what’s happening to our democracy. The truth is there are certainly members of Congress who have been silenced by this fear of retribution — and it’s even worse for career civil servants in the military, justice system or intelligence community.

Trump knows that by coming after whistleblowers like Alex and me it will create a culture of fear within the federal government. He’s banking on that to be what allows him to destroy democracy.

So long as I have a voice and a platform, I will not hesitate to call out Trump’s corruption. But I cannot do this alone, so I need you to stand with me right now:
